Antonio Roque Biography

roque

Hi! I’m Antonio Roque. I started here at CATS in the 2014-2015 school year as an Intervention Coordinator and Counselor. Though my counseling colleague and I divide our student caseload by grade level, our doors are open to ALL students. I enjoy immensely what I do and am fulfilled by the relationships I have built with students, parents and colleagues here at Diego Rivera. My interests include music, painting, creative writing, traveling, basketball and lounging.

I am proud to say that I grew up in South L. A. (known then as South Central). I graduated from Jefferson High School, and earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Whittier College. I attended California State University, Dominguez Hills where I cleared my Teaching Credential, and my Masters Degree in Counseling and Pupil & Personnel Services Credential from Concordia University Irvine. Please feel free to email me at axr7173@lausd.net or at (323) 846-2112.
